2016 Recap!

What an incredible season 2016 ended up being for the world of pro motocross! The SX Season saw the almost flawless riding style of Ryan Dungey taking the first place championship and the red plate in the 450 class!  The 250 class embattled some of the fiercest competition we have ever seen in the lites class.  East coast was a stacked field.  Malcolm Stewart proved he is there to win- and he did.  Malcolm taking the east coast win and giving the Stewart brothers the distinction of being the first brothers to take SX titles! The west coast championship came down to the last round in Vegas between Webb and Savatgy in a grueling mud race in which Webb was able to clinch the win and hold on to take the top step!  Ken Roczen straight dominated 2016 outdoors in the premier 450 class.  His biggest competitor Ryan Dungey was injured at Thunder Valley and would sit out the remainder of the outdoor season.  Tomac, Musquin and Barcia all proved they can be up in the top positions but Roczen’s consistency would give him the title! The 250 class in outdoors was and up and down exciting season.  Webb, Savatgy, Martin, Martin, Plessinger, Tonus, Forkner, Osbourne all saw podiums.  This class was sheer excitement to watch every moto.  Webb proved he is a champ by winning the 250 class championship giving him a winning season for 2016.

We saw lots of injuries throughout 2016 which made for the ever changing line up in the field.  All of our thoughts and prayers are with Jessy Nelson following his crash at Unadilla.  Please continue to support and help anything you can for Jessy and his recovery.
