Who’s Coming-Who’s Going-Who’s Still Looking for 2017

Who’s coming- who’s going’ who’s staying put. As we count down the days until the much-anticipated A1 we are still figuring out where some of the biggest riders are going to end up. One thing is for sure, 2017 Supercross is sure to be bigger and better than ever!

The Cooper Webb, Chad Reed combo on factory Yamaha is sure to be a powerhouse team for 2017. Webb has chosen the much-deserved number 2 as he pairs with the veteran Reed with his career number 22.

Yoshimura Suzuki has closed up operations leaving one of the biggest name stars still without a ride. It has not been released where James Stewart will be pitting for 2017.

Champion Ken Roczen making the move from yellow to red to be paired with teammate Cole Seeley in the 450 class headlines team Honda HRC.

Geico Honda picked up the mega talented Jeremy Martin for 2017. Christian Craig, Chase Sexton, Jimmy Decotis and RJ Hampshire round out the team making Geico Honda a huge presence for next year again!

Monster Energy-Pro Circuit Kawasaki continues with Austin Forkner, Adam Ciancirulo, Joey Savatgy and Justin Hill. All powerful forces and podium contenders for 2017!

Troy Lee Designs-Red Bull KTM picked up Alex Martin for 2017 that joins Mitchell Oldenburg, Jordon Smith and Shane McElrath.

Yamalube-Star Racing Yamaha lost the Martin brother’s but retains Plessinger, Harrison, and Nichols and picks up Dylan Ferrandis to round out a powerful team for the upcoming season.

Red Bull KTM is remaining steady with Ryan Dungey still under contract for 2017 and welcomes Trey Canard- long time Honda rider to KTM -and Marvin Musquin making up their team.

Unfortunately, the comfort and guarantee of a ride does not come easy for 2017. Many big name riders have yet to ink a deal. Wilson, Hahn, Bogle, Malcolm and James Stewart, Chisholm, Weimer, Tickle are all proven ultra talented riders who remain to solidify their spots in the pits.

As we wait patiently for that first gate drop at Anaheim 1 we also wait impatiently to see where all these riders end up! 2017 will be an epic year with the entire bike and team change ups!
